Hi! I’m Rady (pronounced /rô-dee/) Marcel Madkour. A Vancouver-based creative excelling in market execution, brand development, and digital marketing.

My interest in the everchanging arena that is culture served as the motivating force for me to pursue and complete my bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies with a concentration in Technology, Culture, and Society at Simon Fraser University (2023).

In just a span of two decades, we’ve collectively witnessed the decline of old, and subsequent installations of newer zeitgeists, the evolution of social movements, and technology’s accelerated and continued expansion towards a yet unrealized singularity; all of which provides precious insight into the future and current state of our now-globalized society.

Marketing and advertising serve as the contemporary cultural canon and mythos of North America – where there were once folktales and heroes now stands a pantheon of ads and insurance mascots. Creative agencies are to society as what the bards of ancient Greece were to theirs; turning to the past to find inspiration, in order to create meaning for the present in the form of stories and legends that will remain embedded in our shared culture.

And I, too, wish to be a 21st century bard.
